Alina Tutkova (Russian: Алина Тютькова, born 26 September 1993, Volgograd region, Russia) is an entrepreneur, blogger, co-owner of the Angel Cakes cafe chain, where she also acts as a brand chef.[1][2]
Career[edit]
In 2014, Alina Tutkova opened her pastry shop in Volgograd. At the time, she worked all by herself, being a confectioner, processing orders and delivering them to clients. The business began to expand, and in 2019 Alina, together with her husband Dmitry, opened her own cafe with healthy desserts and brunch that was named Angel Cakes.[3]
The first cafe of the chain was opened in Volgograd, later on followed by cafes in Krasnodar, Moscow and Saint Petersburg. The Angel Cakes’ distinctive feature encompasses healthy meals, recipes with superfoods, vegan menu alternatives and gluten-free and sugar-free desserts.[4]
In 2020, the Angel Cakes chain became the winner of Live Organic Awards in the category of “The Best Healthy Food Place”. Alina Tutkova is the brand chef of all Angel Cakes chain cafes.
In 2022, the Angel Cakes project entered the international market having opened their cafes in the UAE.[5] Now, they operate in 4 locations: Dubai Mall, Bluewaters, Dubai Hills, and Yas Mall.[6] There are plans to open cafes in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.[6]
In December 2023, the Angel Cakes chain announced the beginning of their cooperation with model and entrepreneur Natalia Vodianova. In addition to the cafe chain, Alina also manages Angel Store, the online store of healthy food, and keeps her blog where she shares the signature recipes of healthy meals and talks about her brand.[7][8]
Personal life[edit]
Tutkova married Dmitry Tutkov in 2014;[9] the couple has had three children, whose names are Miron, Mia, and Evan (born on April 9, 2015, November 15, 2017, and June 1, 2022, respectively).[6]
