Al Hebiah (Arabic:الحبيه) is a community of the Emirate of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. It is located in the Sector 6 in the central area of Dubai.
Territory[edit]
The territory of the community occupies an area of 32.3 km2[1] in central Dubai.
Al Hebiah is divided into six communities:
- Al Hebiah First (community code 674), also called Dubai Motor City, in the northeast;
- Al Hebiah Second (community code 675), also known as Dubai Studio City, in the east;
- Al Hebiah Third (community code 676), also called Damac Hills, to the east;
- Al Hebiah Fourth (community code 682), also called Dubai Sports City, northwest;
- Al Hebiah Fifth (community code 683), also known as Dubai Golf City, southwest;
- Al Hebiah Sixth (community code 677), also called Mudon, southeast.
The area has a rectangular shape and is enclosed entirely between Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E 311) to the north, Al Qudra Street (D 63) to the east, Emirates Road (E 611 listen)) to the south and the community of Me'aisem to the west. The area is also crossed by Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street (D 54) running east–west and Hessa Street (D 61) running north–south.[2]
This is a mixed community that includes residential areas with apartments and villas, but also office buildings, commercial areas and sports and leisure facilities. There is also a series of services which include: schools for various age levels, shopping areas, parks, restaurants, mosques and health centers.[3]
Among the main reference points of the community are:
- In Motor City
- the Uptown Motor City residential complex which offers residential apartments in low-rise buildings and includes recreational areas, schools and parks. Apartments range from studios to 4 bedroom residences;[3]
- the Green Community Motor City residential complex, characterized by large villas, terraced houses and luxurious apartments;[4]
- the Dubai Autodrome, comprises a 5.39 km Federation International Automobile approved circuit which can be configured into six different layouts and lengths depending on the races, a racing school, indoor and outdoor karting tracks, as well as an equipped area called the Motor City Business Park, capable of providing offices and warehouses for support activities for the sports teams;
- the GEMS Metropole School, which offers the British Curriculum to children aged 3 to 17;[3]
- the Emirates Hospital Day Surgery & Medical Center;[3]
- the shopping mall 'First Avenue;[3]
- the mosques of Al Eman and Al Adel;[3]
- In Studio City
- the Glitz residential complex, divided into Glitz 1, Glitz 2 and Glitz 3;[5]
- the sports club Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club;[6]
- the Warner Brothers Discovery Network office tower;[5]
- the Studio One Hotel.[5]
- In Sports City
- the luxury residential complex of Victory Heights, consisting of over 1,000 villas in the western area of the community;[7]
- the Elite Sports Residence residential complex, consisting of 10 buildings with a total of over 3,000 apartments;[8]
- the Canal Residence West apartment complex, located near the Canal Promenade;[8]
- the Victory Heights Primary School, which follows the UK Curriculum up to 6 years;[8]
- the Al Juma mosque;[8]
- In Damac Hills
- In Golf City
- the Remraam residential complex, made up of low-rise buildings at low prices suitable for families or individuals;[11]
- In Mudon
- the residential complexes of Rahat, Naseem, Arabella and Al Salam, composed of terraced houses of various sizes;[12]
The area is not served by the subway and there are no stops in the nearest communities. However, there are several surface lines that serve the community quite widely by connecting it to neighboring communities.
