If you are able to prove this please attend to some other issues. Please do not spend time doing this unless you can prove he passes.
"rom Syria and Iraq.[12][13][14][15]" is one of a number of prime examples of WP:CITEKILL. Instead we need one excellent reference per fact asserted. If you are sure it is beneficial, two, and at an absolute maximum, three. A fact you assert, once verified in a reliable source, is verified. More is gilding the lily. Please choose the very best in each case of multiple referencing for a single point and either drop or repurpose the remainder. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 09:16, 26 November 2023 (UTC)

Abdulrahman Elsamni (Arabic: عبدالرحمن السمني; born 30 May 1988 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) is an Egyptian scientist in the field of Media and Marketing Communications. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing Communications at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Ain Shams University.[1]

Biography[edit]

Elsamni was appointed as an assistant professor in the Department of Marketing Communications in the Faculty of Mass Communication, Ain Shams University, and received tenure in October 2022.[1] He also holds the position of Director of the Information Technology Unit in the Faculty.[2][3]

Before that, he worked as an assistant lecturer in the Department of Media and Communication Sciences in the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University since October 2016[4][5], in the same department where he began his academic professional career as a teaching assistant in February 2010.[6][7][8]

Education[edit]

Elsamni obtained his Ph.D. in Media and Communication Sciences from the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University in 2022. His doctoral thesis was titled "The Role of Celebrity Endorsement on Social Networks in Forming Brand Attitudes among Egyptian Youth." The study aimed to explore the impact of Egyptian celebrities' endorsement of brands on social media platforms, particularly Instagram, in shaping brand attitudes. It involved both analytical analysis of endorsements of brands on Instagram profiles by Egyptian celebrities, including Mohamed Salah and Amr Diab, and a field study on a sample of Egyptian youth followers. The examining committee awarded him the Ph.D. degree with honors and recommended sharing the thesis with other universities.[8][9][10][11]

During his postgraduate studies, Elsamni has participated in a scientific mission for postgraduate studies in Media and Cultural Praxis at Marburg University in Germany in 2020.[8]

Elsamni holds a Master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the American University in Cairo, obtained in 2016. His master's thesis was titled "Framing Arab Refugees in Global News" and examined the media coverage by international news outlets, specifically CNN, of Arab refugees, after the migration and displacement of tens of thousands from Arab countries, especially from Syria and Iraq.[12][13][14][15]

In addition, Elsamni obtained a graduate Diploma in Public Policy from the American University in Cairo in 2016.[8]

On the undergraduate level, Elsamni holds a Bachelor's degree in Media and Communication Sciences from Ain Shams University, obtained in 2009, and a second Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Computing from the Open University in the United Kingdom, also obtained in 2009.[8]

Media[edit]

Elsamni is a regular guest in the Egyptian Radio and Television. In 2018 and 2019, he presented 15 episodes of the Egyptian weekly TV-Show "Dictionary of Culture" on ERTU Channel 2.

Elsamni is also a published poet[16], who publishes in Egyptian newspapers, such as El Watan.[17][18][19][20][21]
