Abdullah Baloch (Urdu: عبداللہ بلوچ, born 15 March 1963), is a Judge of the High Court of Balochistan, Pakistan.

Legal career[edit]

After completing his law degree, Justice Baloch served as an Officer BPS-18 in the Ministry of Petroleum's project SML in 1991. He resigned in 2001 and enrolled with the Balochistan Bar Council as an advocate.

Justice Baloch's legal career flourished as he gained experience in various legal areas. He received his High Court license in 2004 and appeared in state cases on behalf of the Advocate General in the High Court of Balochistan until 2007.

The Government of Balochistan then appointed him as Public Prosecutor (BPS-20) of Anti-Terrorism in the High Court of Balochistan, a position he held until June 2011. He then returned to private practice as an Advocate.

During his time as an Advocate, Mr. Baloch represented clients in a wide range of cases, including Constitutional, Anti-Corruption, Anti-Terrorism, Labour, Election, Services, Custom, Mine and Minerals, Banking, and Revenue. He also served as the Legal Advisor of District Government Kharan from 2008 to 2014.

Judicial career[edit]

Justice Baloch's extensive legal experience and reputation led to his appointment as Member Labour Appellate Tribunal, Balochistan, in February 2015. This position held the same rank as a Judge of the High Court. While serving on the Tribunal, Justice Baloch delivered over 40 judgments within a year and a half. Justice Baloch was elevated to the position of Judge of the High Court of Balochistan on August 13, 2016. His appointment was confirmed on July 17, 2018.

Languages[edit]

Justice Baloch is multilingual and proficient in six languages: Urdu, English, Balochi, Brahui, Persian, and Pashto.[1]
