The Clerk of the Parliaments Act 1824 (5 Geo. 4. c. 82) is an Act of Parliament of the United Kingdom that covers the appointment of the Clerk of the Parliaments and his deputies.

  1. ^ Section 1 of, and the First Schedule to, the Short Titles Act 1896 originally authorised the citation of this Act by the short title "The Clerk of Parliaments Act 1824". Paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 3 to the Statute Law (Repeals) Act 1978 substituted the words "The Clerk of the Parliaments Act 1824" for the words "The Clerk of Parliaments Act 1824" in First Schedule of Short Titles Act 1896.
