Church of Ireland Historical Society (COIHS), was established in 1994, for those interested in and to promote the study of Irish Church History.[1]

It hosted two annual conferences one in spring in the eighteenth-century Armagh Robinson Library,[2] Co. Armagh, and another in winter in the nineteenth-century Music Room in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin,[3] [4] (it previously met in the Chapter House, of Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin.)

The COIHS is a member of the Irish Committee of Historical Societies,[5] and works with academic institutions and other societies and organisations such as the Catholic Historical Society of Ireland, the Public Records Office of Northern Ireland, Dublin Festival of History, and the History Ireland Hedge School.
