Chugh, LLP previously known as The Chugh Firm[1] is a corporate, immigration, and tax firm based in California, United States.[2] It was founded in 1985 by Navneet Chugh, who currently serves as the Managing Partner.[3][4] The firm has offices located in the United States as well as affiliates in Canada, India, Pakistan, and South America.[5]

History[edit]

The firm was founded in 1985[6] by LA-based attorney Navneet Chugh[7] after relocating to the United States of America. His decision to settle in the country was influenced by personal circumstances, particularly his experience caring for his ailing mother in 1981.[8]

Upon settling in Southern California, Navneet Chugh launched Chugh, LLP in 1986.[9]

In 2004, the company expanded its operations to India through a collaboration with Universal Legal in Bangalore, India.[10][9][11] Subsequently, in 2019, Chugh LLP partnered with Taxmantra.

Initially, Chugh LLP offered tax and litigation services exclusively.[12] However, the company later expanded to include a wide array of legal services. These services encompass immigration law, corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, employment law, family law, real estate law, criminal law, and various other practice areas.[8]
