There's a couple things that need done to this category:
Add subcategories by country
Verify women are record producers - not just recording artists
I'm finding #2 is a common issue. Just because someone is a recording artist does not mean they are a record producer (and not all record producers are musicians). I have been verifying against Allmusic records and leaving a note on the talk page if someone has been changed (if women are producers, they should have a citation to a producing credit to prove it).
If anyone wants to help with this, I've made it through the letters "A-B," "O-P," and "X-Z" but no others.

If this helps the Record producer page defines a producer's tasks as
"Supervisor from pre-production to final product of recording"
Co-writing
Arranging and orchestration
Artist coaching and management
Therefore if an artist only works with their own group, only writes their own songs, is credited mainly as a musician (or even only as an electronic musician), then put them in their respective instrument/composer/band categories. There are sufficient electronic musician categories for those who do not produce.

Eventually we can make a list of female record producers (notable and of the strict definition), but maybe to make that easier we can leave the notable women in this parent category, and the rest of the women go in their respective country's page.
