How to expand[edit]

I did a couple of these. Here's the process as near as I can figure out (correct me if I'm wrong). Find categories such as Category:British female architects or Category:British women architects (the actual code does not have the ":" before Category. That is so it will display here).

Add to these pages Category:Women architects by nationality. You may have to create this cat (it will be red once you've added it). if so, click the red link and add Category:Women by occupation and nationality. Otherwise just follow that link Category:Women X by nationality (where X = the name of an occupation). and add [[:Category::Women by occupation and nationality]] to that preexisting cat.

Now, the hard part: find all the cats name Category:X female architects or Category:X women architects (where X= a nationality name) and add Category:Women architects by nationality to those cats.

Or find articles for Female architects who are also British and add the cat to their article Category:British women architects.
