ARSHAD NEYAZ[edit]

An Urdu fiction writer born on 3 October 1969. His native place is BALLIA(U.P)INDIA. He Presently resides at 463 G.T. ROAD, SHAIBPUR, HOWRAH, WEST BENGAL. He has obviously been writing since 1986. His first story was published in the 1987 in the Dinbando College magagine as "ADHOORA AADMI". Later he published a collection of a regional poet's book as "SADAWOON KE FREB". After a long struggle he has allowed himself to publish his own book as "GHAR AANGAN SAILAAB" in 2009. Some great Urdu writers admire his book. Actually his book was the first Urdu fiction of the Urdu-speaking world, containing 40 short stories. One of them, in English, is described on the back cover as "A BLIND CARVAN". Some of his other famous stories are "NOR KE JAHOOR SE PEHLEY", "AAKHRI SAFER", "BRAIN WAR", "AB BAS KARO MAA" and "HAI INTEJAAR ABHI". In short, all of his fiction represents the outcome of his personal experience, knowledge and creative thinking.
