This is definitely true. Unit operations is defined as the set of individual operations that makes up a chemical plant. This is the only term used in this context. Wsloand 16:40, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
As one who was a practicing chemical engineer for over 50 years, I agree that this is a well-known standard term used worldwide by anyone familiar with chemical engineering.
