The entire reading public should note and also the author of this article that the entire Rivers State is no,will not and never be an IGBO STATE. Out of 23 LGA'S less than half are IKWERRES,how then do you categorise the entire State as an IGBO STATE? We should please try as much as possible to tell the true position of things while passing out imformation to the public.Yes we intermarry, but that cannot change the atatus quo of a people.Port Harcourt City ownership we all know is in contention(in court). The Ogoni's,Andoni's,Ibani's,Kalabari's,Okrikan's,Abua people,Eleme people are not Ikwerre people but are all in Rivers State. WHY on earth should some one group them to be IGBO people or to say that the land is an IGBO land,I feel that is wrong,is it because we were all in the former eastern region.A country(NIGERIA)that has north, west and east but no south. The truth can only be hidden for a while and forever,it is as good as calling Nigeria a Hausa country. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.191.110.82 (talk) 15:28, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
