Porn stars and prostitutes[edit]

Category:Pornographic film actors is listed as a subcategory here alongside Category:Prostitutes. I would argue that pornographic film acting is clearly a form of prostitution though. Even if laws overlook that aspect and sanction it, that's clearly what it is, since they are being compensated for sex. As for unpaid actors: if nobody is getting paid, then it's just erotica, not pornography, because pornography is about prostitutes, not sex.

I am wondering, in a broader scope: to be classified as a PFA, must one have had sex on film? Or would this label also apply to people who have been in such films (extras, guests) but not actually consummated sex themselves? For example if rumors were true about Ricardo Rodriguez being the guy visible on the right 1 minute 35 seconds into this video then he may qualify just for being an extra?
