This category is very small (12 entries) and consists mostly of Category:Presbyterian Church (USA) Seminaries (10 entries).

It might be more useful to readers to have a couple of larger but mutually exclusive categories

There will be limited overlap where a school provides both general education and ordinand training.

What do you think? --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 08:53, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Great work! I have added a few seminaries (and former seminaries). I did not yet add places like Knox College, Illinois, The Scots College or Presbyterian Ladies' College, Perth.

Perhaps we could rename it [[Category:Presbyterian seminaries and theological colleges]] to match with the naming of other sub-categories in Category:Seminaries and theological colleges? That way the category focuses on pastoral education and theology. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 08:12, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Neither The Scots College nor Presbyterian Ladies' College, Perth are theological colleges. They are schools. Blarneytherinosaur 08:28, 29 August 2006 (UTC) comment copied from Talk:Presbyterianism[reply]
Exactly. Similarly, Knox College, Illinois is not a theological college, it is a liberal arts college. That is my motivation for proposing renaming the category.
By the way, Category:Presbyterian schools has Category:Presbyterian universities and colleges as a sub-category. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 09:14, 29 August 2006 (UTC) comment copied from Talk:Presbyterianism[reply]
