Contested deletion[edit]
This page should not be speedily deleted because the issues raised in the previous CfD have been addressed. The addition of entries to the category belies the false claim that WP:SMALLCAT applies, as the category not only can be -- but has been -- expanded beyond the arbitrary minimum. Bad faith removal of category entries in clear violation of WP:PRESERVE, only aggravate the abuse of process here. Alansohn (talk) 19:20, 21 April 2017 (UTC)
- Bad faith? Nothing there in the article to prove they are from this place till you did your edits. Your bad faith accusations are worthy of a Boomerang in light of your edit here[1] to preserve a category at CFD by categorizing a Firearms company 'People from Andover, New Jersey'. You even bragged[2] about your bad faith edit at CFD. BTW it was reverted[3]. Maybe some administrator should look at how you routinely delete notable entries citing lack of a article and source while at the same time keeping entries that don't have both when it suits you. Not to mention entries (based on blogs, obituaries, Amazon author pages) that any editor with your edit experience would know aren't reliably sourced. Are you here to build an encyclopedia or just working to impose your arbitrary misrepresentations of policy and refuse to communicate to repeated requests to give a minimum number that will satisfy your demands? While I've created articles and added reliable and verifiable sources to address your issues, real or imagined, you've made a persistent series of bad faith edits, failing to comply with WP:PRESERVE and removing sourced content. - "firearms company editand [sic] others"?!? The firearm company link was a placeholder. I had sources from a listserv that linked James V. Howe to Andover and was going to create an article. A few minutes later I started working on creating an article for Stephen M. Balzer. I spent some time trying to find the underlying for sources for Howe, but they're in books not available (and verifiable) online. I had hoped to find the book and create the article, but never got around to creating it or removing the category from the article for Griffin & Howe. I sincerely hope that your bad faith assumption regarding my efforts to improve and create articles isn't the basis of your allegations.
