[1][2] - This category is a subcategory of category:geography of Taiwan, almost all of which content, as well as the main article, are Taiwan-specific. The main article does not discuss the non-Taiwan parts of the modern-day Republic of China, e.g. Kinmen. Kinmen National Park is the only national park of the ROC not within Taiwan. — Instantnood 21:46, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And you ignore that Taiwan is a common use name for the entirety of the ROC, and not just the island. SchmuckyTheCat 21:57, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No, a year ago you proposed mass renames of "* of Taiwan" to "* of the Republic of China". It failed, and resulted in the first arbitration case. Leave well enough alone. This category can and does encompass Kinmen park. SchmuckyTheCat 22:06, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't. If it does it would be not following the Wikipedia official policy mentioned above. I didn't propose mass renames either. A relevant official policy had already been there by then. I just requested for its application. — Instantnood 22:17, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Instead of excluding this category from certain categories and articles, this category should be renamed "National parks of the Republic of China." The title of "national park" is a national level desigation, and it is more accurate to rename it as such in line with the current naming conventions (e.g. "President of the Republic of China" vs. "President of Taiwan")--Jiang 02:55, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
