Contested deletion[edit]

This page, even if still empty, should not be speedy deleted, as it was part of a series of some dozen categories that were emptied by User:Al-Andalusi on April 18, 2011, immediately prior to his nominating the category for speedy deletion on the grounds of it being empty, and with the intention of replacing all such categories with the Category:Physicians of medieval Islam. This category is now being repopulated. If this and any of the other categories emptied by Al-Andalusi are to be deleted, the matter should be discussed in a full Cfd. -- Davshul (talk) 07:24, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Related issues were discussed at full Cfd's on April 18, 2011 and May 6, 2011, the results of which confirmed that categories similar to this category should not be replaced by Category:Physicians of medieval Islam. Davshul (talk) 07:58, 21 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
