Untitled[edit]

I would like to expand on the Liverpool City Region. The development of this page will hopefully allow a personal desire focusing on Liverpool and the area's around the city especially in Knowsley and South Sefton. There are some articles in the Liverpool Daily Post for reference, however not as a back up. This article is self explanitory (Greater Liverpool) all that is needed is to log the places. If anyone would like to talk beforehand leave a message. Dmcm2008 (talk) 21:01, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Category seems confused[edit]

Description is of "areas within", but the City Region is by definition a collective of authorities not that are represented by the LCRCA. This category should either be the constituent authorities and / or projects specific to the Liverpool City Region. If we want to make it about the area at large, then we shouldn't include the authorities here and it should instead just be the towns / cities that fall within the boundaries of the "City Region" as defined by the LCRCA. Use of phrases such as "Greater Liverpool", "Greater Merseyside" and "Liverpool Bay" are contentious assertions and aren't analogous with each other or the LCRCA or Liverpool City Region.
