Untitled[edit]

Disappointing that there is not even mention of Eddie Higgins.

I started the article, but put him in Category: American jazz pianists.--T. Anthony 10:00, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Appearance of Jack DeJohnette[edit]

I'm tempted to remove Jack DeJohnette from this listing of jazz pianists. JD will always be known for his drum work. ..could be he plays piano too, but then, so do most musicians. Including JD under piano performers would be similar to including Keith Jarrett under saxophone or Ornette Coleman under violin..

Opinions?

I'm not familiar with his work, but I cut him.--T. Anthony 09:54, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

where is nat king cole?

He's in Category:American jazz pianists. There are many many jazz pianists, it's one of the most popular instruments in jazz, so there's some breakdown by nationality.--T. Anthony 17:50, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cleared out the category[edit]

I just cleared out this entire category and recategorized musicians. Let us keep it that way please. (Mind meal 09:09, 2 July 2007 (UTC))[reply]
