Overused[edit]

This category is way overused. It should not be used for each and very location in Poland where a Jew died during the Holocaust; right now it seems used for example for every village and town that was a shetl or a historical Jewish community, even in articles which simply say that 'the entire Jewish population of this place was deported to Auschwitz or Treblinka' or such and doesn't even suggest that a single person died there. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 04:44, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I fully concur with the OP. This category needs a revision. IMO it should include only the places like Auschwitz-Birkenau, Kulm, Treblinka and other camps, ghettos as well as pogroms, massacres and mass graves sites. Kowalmistrz (talk) 08:07, 10 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
