Can somebody create an article on German nobility? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 19:10, 12 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Alphabetizing "House of ..."?[edit]

I've been trying to put some consistency to some of these category pages. This page lists a number of articles entitled "House of ..." Some are alphabetized under "H" for House, and some are under the name of that particular House. I'd like to sort them so that they are all done one way or the other. In the category "European Royal Families," where the majority of the articles are "House of ...", I felt it made sense to sort them by the name of each particular House. But I'm inclined to think that here, it makes sense to do them all under H for House. Opinions? 140.147.236.194 (talk) 13:25, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Stephen Kosciesza[reply]

Unconstitutional[edit]

As most will be aware, the nobility and titles were abolished by the German constitution many years ago. This should be an empty category (or it should be renamed - e.g. ex-nobility in Germany). The tabloids and glossy magazines love them but they have no rights under German law.--TraceyR (talk) 21:33, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
