No general article[edit]

There seems to not only be no article about Firefighting in the United States (matching the category name), but no article about firefighting generally.

I was looking for an article in which to place this tiny piece of information - in the US, 73% of all firefighters are volunteers. For the record, this happens mostly in rural areas - a lot of firefighters per unit of population (since they are not fulltime). Student7 (talk) 00:14, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
