What is the difference between this and Category:Families by country? I see no obvious one, so only one of them should exist. --Saforrest 19:16, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Some months later this had the "country" one merged into it after a proposal for merging the other way. In view of some of the sub-subcategories, such as Category:Families of New York (who could be Irish or Chinese or anything but American), the current name is misleading and should be considered for reverting to the accurately determinable "country" one. Only three users voted for "nationality". The Genealogy Wikia has a "Families by country" category. Robin Patterson (talk) 15:53, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
