Diffusion[edit]
The category is non-diffusing in Category:Political scientists but in practice it has been diffused out of Category:American political scientists. It makes total sense for Category:Women political scientists to be diffused by nationality when those nationalities are too large, but now we have a really unfortunate situation where Category:American political scientists is exclusively a category for men despite being nominally a gender-neutral category, and the women are segregated into a special and diffused sub-category. It would be more consistent with WP:EGRS to un-diffuse this category and add its members to Category:American political scientists. Before I do that, am I missing something? Pinging ThurstonMitchell since you have done a lot of work on these categories. - Astrophobe (talk) 20:24, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
