I have started this category as per Category:2017 sports events in London and others as it would seem to be logical to have such a category for 2016 and other years when London had multiple sporting events. It also would seem to be an obvious subcategory for Category:2016 in English sport and particularly Category:2016 in London. Dunarc (talk) 19:45, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
