Prior to November 22, 2005, OrthodoxWiki content was only available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0 license, which is unacceptably restrictive for Wikipedia. After that date, all content is dual-licensed under the GFDL and the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5 license. This means the text is usable under whichever of the two licenses is most acceptable. Nearly all currently active editors who had contributed to OrthodoxWiki prior to that date have agreed to the relicensing of their older material.
