Borysławka [bɔrɨˈswafka] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Fredropol, within Przemyśl County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland, close to the border with Ukraine.[1] It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) south-west of Fredropol, 18 km (11 mi) south-west of Przemyśl, and 63 km (39 mi) south-east of the regional capital Rzeszów.

The Borysławka stream flows into the Wiar.[2]

History[edit]

The first mention of Borysławka dates back to 1494, when Jan Ryboticki received the village.[3]

The Ukrainian population was deported and the village was burned in October 1945 as part of Operation Vistula by the Polish Home Army.
