Michael Blair Henley (born May 14, 1997) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2024.

Career[edit]

Henley attended Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth, Texas, and the University of Texas at Austin, where he played college baseball for the Texas Longhorns. The Houston Astros of Major League Baseball (MLB) selected him in the seventh round of the 2019 MLB draft.[1][2]

The Astros promoted Henley to the major leagues on April 8, 2024, to make his major league debut in place of Framber Valdez.[3] He allowed five earned runs while recording one out[4] and was optioned back to the Triple-A Sugar Land Space Cowboys after the game.[5]
