Ali Muhammed oglu Huseynli (azərb. Əli Hüseynli, born October 8, 1968, Baku) is an Azerbaijani politician. He is a is member of the New Azerbaijan Party, First Vice-Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan [SA1] (1996–2000), Deputy of the Milli Majlis (since 2000), and first Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan (since March 10, 2020).

Biography[edit]

  • Ali Hüseyinli was born in Baku in 1968. He graduated from secondary school number 135 in Binagadi district of Baku city in 1985.
  • He worked as a worker in the "Kalininselstroy" construction department of the Kalinin region of Russia in 1985–1986.
  • In 1987, he entered the Faculty of Law of Kalinin State University.
  • He did his military service in 1988–1989.
  • He is currently the first deputy chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the chairman of the Legal Policy and State Building Committee of the National Assembly.[1]
  • He was a member of the Judicial Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
  • He is a member of the Anti-Corruption Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

He is married and has two children.

Political activity[edit]

In 1995, Ali Huseynli was appointed as a specialist in the Executive office of the President of Azerbaijan.
