Albert Edward Derrick (8 September 1908 – 5 June 1975) was a Welsh professional footballer who made 125 appearances as a forward in the Football League for Newport County.[3][4] He is a member of the club's Hall of Fame.[5]

Personal life[edit]

Derrick was the father of Albert Derrick Jr, who also played football for Newport County.[6] He served in the British Army for seven years, including five on the North-West Frontier.[5]
