Ajaokuta Airstrip or Ajaokuta Airfield is an airstrip 22 kilometres (14 mi) southwest of Ajaokuta, a town in the Kogi State in Nigeria.

The airport is located in kogi state in adogo in ajaokuta town, one of the industrial area in kogi state, according to findings the airport has a Latitude of (7° 27' 15.59" N) and Longitude of (6° 27' 23.99" E.).The airport has no airline service. And there are some nearer and closer airport to the airstrip. The likes of Lokoja airstrip 40 kilometers away, Akure airport which is 130 kilometers away from the airport.[4]

In 2021 the national assembly under the Senate president approved the bill for the renovation of some airstrips in Nigeria; in the 2022 Nigeria national budget Ajaokuta airstrip strip was among the eight listed airstrips for renovation and profer[clarification needed] function in other to generate more income and revenue from the ajaokuta airstrip. And also for the movement and transportation of raw materials, in and out of ajaokuta steel mill in kogi state.[5]
