Ahmed Khudhair (Arabic: أحمد خضير; born 1975) is an Iraqi football coach and former football player. He played as a forward.[1][2][3] He was nicknamed Ahmed Baggio by Iraqi fans.[4]
International career[edit]
On October 30, 1999, Khudhair played his debut with Iraq against Estonia in his first international match. This was a friendly match in Abu Dhabi, which ended 1-1.[5]
Coaching career[edit]
Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya[edit]
Ahmed Khudhair started as an assistant coach to Basim Qasim in Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya in August 2018.[6]
Al-Naft SC[edit]
Khudhair continued with Basim Qasim to be his assistant in Al-Naft SC on 12 march of 2019, after leaving Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.[7]
Al-Zawraa SC[edit]
On 20 September 2019, Basim Qasim agreed with Al-Zawraa SC to lead the club, and took Khudhair as an assistant.[8]
