The 2024–25 season will be the 119th season in the history of Chelsea Football Club and their 36th consecutive season in the top flight of English football. In addition to the domestic league, the club will participate in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup.

Pre-season and friendlies[edit]

On 8 March, Chelsea announced a planned return to the United States during pre-season with matches later confirmed against Wrexham, Club América, Celtic, Manchester City and Real Madrid.[4][5]
