Your article on Final Fantasy VII DS[edit]

Please note that an article on a game that does not exist, has had no official confirmation of its existence and is little more than a fan dream does not belong on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. Please familiarise yourself with the guidelines about what is and isn't suitable for a Wikipedia article. Check out the links in the above welcome message for more information. Thank you. ~ Matticus78 16:39, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not change the reasons for nominating an article for deletion. Changing the apparent viewpoint of other users is considered vandalism, and may result in you being blocked from making further edits to Wikipedia. Please read the guide and policies on deletion at WP:DEL.
I understand you may be a little upset about your first article on Wikipedia being nominated for deletion and wanting to protect it, but Wikipedia is meant to be a repository of factual information, not fan speculation and rumours. If and when a DS port of FFVII is announced by Squaresoft themselves, then is the time to create an article about it, and not a moment before. Please, don't be discouraged - I'm an understanding guy, and I'm not nominating the article for deletion out of spite or anything (if I seemed curt with my reasons for deletion, I apologise; we Newpage Patrol volunteers have a heavy workload, so we have to be rather direct about nominations and not spend many minutes writing essays about them!). If you're a fan of video games (and I certainly am!), and can do good research, there are many articles already on Wikipedia that you could add to and improve. Remember that any changes you make to articles must be verifiable by reliable sources. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask me on my talk page. Good luck, and I hope you find some good content to add to Wikipedia. ~ Matticus78 23:01, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just thought I would address a couple of issues on this article with you- first of all, it cites no references for where you got the information from. Secondly, it has no album infobox, which would certainly improve it greatly. The tracklisting section is also rather poor- you should make use of the # key! There is a lot of information on how to write a good album article easily at Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums, it might be worth having a look. J Milburn 12:25, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Carnifex (band)[edit]

I have nominated Carnifex (band), an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Carnifex (band). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Guy (Help!) 21:24, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article.  — Statυs (talk, contribs) 14:25, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Three (End of Everything album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article does not exist or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ~ GB fan 19:21, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
