Cleanup[edit]

This article has been cleaned up pretty well, but needs help with expansion I have looked around and have not found any relevent info not already stated in this article hopefully someone else will have something good to add. --Chad 22:18, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I did not see the whole movie, but he is homosexual? 68.9.70.202 16:33, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, he is not. I tried cleaning up some of the vandalism today; it might be better to revert to a previous version, but I don't have enough wiki-fu or time to find a good one. 69.22.237.158 15:59, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What proof do you have of his private orientation? No teacher would dare reveal to his/her students whether or not he is married or what the gender of his spouse is. That is a private bedroom issue. It is quite offensive that you insist that he is heterosexual even though you have no concrete evidence. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.74.75.149 (talk) 00:08, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The character in the movie is not gay (has a thing for a co-worker's girlfriend), and as far as I know, neither is the real Ron Clark. I deleted the homosexual line though, since it's obvious that at least the movie version of him is straight. -Anon

Just got finished watching this movie and the character that plays Shameika is a 12-year old in 6th grade in Mr. Clark's class. She has a difficult home life and does not have a lot of time to study because she is forced to help take care of her SIBLINGS. They are NOT her children. There is a scene where Ron Clark goes to visit Shameika at her home and helps prepare dinner for her and her siblings so Shameika can study. Shameika's mother comes in and she is angry because she thinks that Mr. Clark thinks she is incapable of taking care of her own children. (Refer to the movie and you will see the mother shout this at Mr. Clark.)

Accuracy?[edit]

I would be interested in seeing a section on how it differs from what happened in real life. How does wiki usually handle this? Give it a special section? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.28.188.56 (talk) 01:48, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
