Montie Montana[edit]

In the mid-1950s Monty Montana came to Eugene Field in Glendale, CA. He did rope tricks on and off his horse, Rex. Then he brought out a little dapple-gray Shetland pony. He would say to the pony. "Hi Ho Silverware" and it would rear up & paw the air. As a young fan of The Lone Ranger, I thought it was cute to have a dapple gray pony names "Silverware" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.221.90.82 (talk) 11:42, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
