Review comments[edit]

Some suggestions for improvement as the article is expanded:

  • Template:Infobox Scientist should be added
    • -- started one
  • Basic biographical information required, including date and place of birth
    • -- couldn't find this with a quick search but see note below.
  • Lead needs slimming and material moving to main article
    • -- did some trimming
  • 'Education' and Faculty appointments sections need to be rewritten in prose
    • -- Done
  • Information on work, writings and research should be expanded
    • Leaving that to someone else
  • Section on 'Criticisms' should be expanded to present a balanced picture of The Female Brain, possibly drawing from the existing article
    • --Made a quick mention, someone else can expand
  • References should be expanded
    • --Leave this for someone else
  • External links present which could be used to expand article
    • --Not sure in what way?

This page should not be speedy deleted because...[edit]

Although the article needs rewriting to make it seem a lot less like an advertisement, the author is genuinely notable as a woman scientist and author. I may be able to help by creating a scientist info box. Please feel free to contact me again if my help is needed. Invertzoo (talk) 15:06, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I quickly trimmed the article a bit and started a scientist infobox. Invertzoo (talk) 15:18, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Date of birth?[edit]

I don't seem to be able to find her date of birth online, but it seems that this article once had December 30th, 1952 as her birth date. However I have no idea where that was sourced from. Invertzoo (talk) 15:31, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
