Untitled[edit]

It is unusual that number of places of worship do not match population distribution. Another curious observation is the high proportion of places of worship w.r.t. to total population. Typically, in the rest of Asia, a place of worship is built for every 1,000 inhabitants. In India, this ratio seems to be 1 to 500 indicating strong hold of organised faith on society. New title[edit]

Please re-title this page 'States of India by number of places of worship'. It just doesn't make sense otherwise. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.185.146.112 (talk) 05:32, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
