Well, technically, he was commissioner of the Northwest Mounted Police, not the RCMP.

Move to more specific page[edit]

I do not know if anyone is watching this page, but if there are no objections, I am going to suggest that this page be moved to use his full name. This is so I can create a page for the George French who was the Governor of Sierra Leone. Woodsstock 16:06, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
