POMO Robotics (registered as POMO LTD.) is a robotic system integrator based in Glasgow, Scotland.[1]

The company was founded in January 2021 and has offices in Scotland and England.

The company primarily focusses on core 4 solutions which include

  • Robotic Solutions
  • Automation Solutions
  • Industry 4.0 Solutions
  • Derisking Solutions[2]

The company works with a wide range of robot brands including ABB, Yaskawa Motoman, Mitsubishi, Keyence, PIAB and JAKA Robotics

In April of 2022, the company was awarded multiple contracts for the delivery of robotic automation solutions to the University of Salford as part of the North of England Robotics Innovation Centre which was part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.[3]

In 2023 as well the business was awarded a grant by the Cotton Textiles Research Institute to develop a collaborative robot cutting tool suitable for fabric cutting in collaboration with the Manchester Metropolitan University[4]

In August of 2023, the company was nominated for the Best Business Category at the 75th annual Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards hosted by Business Gateway[5]

As of 2024, the business has been named as a partner in the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council funded project in dependable and deployable artificial intelligence for robotics with Heriot Watt University, Ocado, Honda, Schlumberger, University of Bremen, Fugro, Huawei, Festo and Thales[6]
