EDrien The Nakameleon, a Lebanese-American creative artist, has captivated global audiences for over a decade through his innovative musical approach and experimenting with different genres. Known for his chameleon-like ability to push boundaries and adapt, EDrien masterfully blends various genres into his production and has the ability to deliver distinctive live performances. The Nakameleon is revolutionizing his vision “I do musically no genre” on the verge to take the music industry by storm.

Biography[edit]

Rawad Edrian Elie Abi Nakad, better known as EDrien The Nakameleon, a prodigy at the age of 14, uncovered a love for music and hosting events at a young age and has since built a life around thriving in the field, performing across the Middle East, The Arabian Gulf, Asia, Europe, America, and The Caribbean Islands. Born on April 29, 1996, in Portland, Oregon, USA, and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. EDrien grew up influenced by Beirut’s vibrant nightlife, one of the most bustling scenes in the Middle East. This environment played a significant role in shaping his early interest and subsequent career in music.

Career[edit]

EDrien first began making waves as a teenager, and this continued to grow into a strong and promising career, with benchmark performances at top tier events across a wide range of industries. He honed his craft and broadened his musical horizons by experimenting a variety of genres. This exploration allowed him to unlock new aspects of his talent and refine his sound. His passion for music extends beyond DJ’ing, with a wide range of skill set that includes playing instruments, composing music, teaching music, sound design and scoring, to marketing, advertising, video editing and hosting events.

EDrien's ascent from grinding late-nights starting at the age of 14 to becoming Qatar's most prominent DJ is a tale of pure passion. Opting to chase his dreams, EDrien abandoned his engineering career in 2016, to devote himself to produce music and mastering various instruments. He blazed a trail within his community, demonstrating that Arab musicians can achieve international success.

2023 marked the beginning to a new chapter in EDrien's career. He chose to retreat from public life, dedicating all his time to music production, refining his live performance skills, and embracing personal development. He became an avid reader, committed to regular gym workouts and embarked on a spiritual journey. The year was all about EDrien's commitment to self-improvement, aiming to evolve into a more enlightened, physically fit, and skilled musician and a human being.

As a results of his unwavering commitment, EDrien has produced over 100 songs across a vast array of genres, including HipHop, Afro Beats, Reggaeton, Pop and House music among others. His ambition doesn't stop there, he aims to sample and blend even more genres pushing the boundaries of his creativity to collaborate with artists of diverse backgrounds.

In 2024, EDrien launched his new identity The Nakameleon releasing his debut single "Take Me There[1]", accompanied by a celebratory launch event[2] at one of Doha's premier locations, delivering his first live performance as he is set to embark on his global tour.

The track is anticipated to resonate with travelers and go viral, this track marks a significant milestone into the next phase of his professional journey.

Having already established himself as one of Qatar's biggest DJs, he is driven by the belief that nothing can hinder his journey to become one of the world's leading DJs.

EDrien has been affiliated with some of the biggest brands in sports and the luxury sector. He has worked with distinguished names like FIFA, FIBA, Formula 1, Moto GP, UFC, Red Bull, Porsche, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Hermès, Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, Vogue Arabia and many more. Stepping into 2022, EDrien ventured in April on his most significant tour to date. His reputation took him to the stages alongside internationally acclaimed artists such as Jason Derulo, French Montana, Maluma, Enrique Iglesias... Notably, he was chosen as the opening act for the FIFA Fan Festival captivating a crowd of over 40,000 people. Additionally, he had the honor of being the official DJ for the FIFA Legends event and was selected to perform at a World Cup Stadium. EDrien also received an invitation from Bein Sports for an exclusive interview.
