Capital A Berhad (MYX: 5099) doing business as Capital A (formerly known as AirAsia Group Berhad) is a Malaysian investment holding company with a portfolio in the aviation, digital and finance industries. The company plans to sell their aviation business to AirAsia X Berhad as apart of a restructuring exercise.[2]

On January 28, 2022, the company announced that they would change their legal name from AirAsia Group Berhad to Capital A Berhad citing the nature of the company extending beyond aviation.[3]

On April 26, 2024, Capital A Berhad entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement with AirAsia X Berhad to sell 100% of AirAsia Berhad and AirAsia Aviation Group Ltd. which owns AirAsia Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand for RM 6.8B.[2][4]
