If they are are specifically associated with spider-man then yes, but if they had extensive appearances in other character's books then it should be considered that they be completely removed from the list. As for boar i think he is more associated with Beta Ray Bill, so unless he had some major appearances in spider-man, he can be removed.. if he did then move him to the non-spider-man villains section. Storyline

i have nothing against storylines. They simply need to be in the right place. Putting the plot of Uncanny X-Men in an article that isn't about that particular comic is not right. That summary goes in the Uncanny X-Men article. Divided We Stand is not the kind of event that has a plot to it. It is an anthology of stories that would be way too large for one article. Also, the individual stories that are part of the anthology transcend the banner. When the "Divided We Stand" Books 1 and 2 are published, that information (if it is a story) can go on that article. I'm not sure that your new edits are a good idea. Catoblepas?

Where did you pull that out of? The Japanese name for his abilities is "Keitosu" which is the Ceto, which is clearly translatable. There is nothing about Gouyu that even references Catoblepas, especially not the Japanese name of his fighting style. Also, why did you add Dominic under the Rangers header at the JF article? Information like that is not changed around until the episode airs or if there are textual sources that explicitly mention things. I looked up Ceto and it's a sea monster (which doesn't have a boar head). I saw his picture on Power Ranger Central and he had a boar-like head on his torso. It also stated that he was a Catoblepas which has the head of a boar and the scaley body of buffalo. Rtkat3 (talk) 8:20, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Except the name of the style is 幻獣ケイトス拳 and it's modeled after the Boar of the Chinese Zodiac. The Japanese name for the Catoblepas is カトブレパス. What we have, and have always had as the style, is that of the Ceto which has the greek name "Cetos" or ケイトス. The Japanese Wikipedia article does not have this, but it is the translation. The only other thing that mentioned "Catoblepas" as being in Gekiranger was the article here. I removed that mention because there was no reference supporting it. I can only find ONE mention online with "Gouyu" and "Catoblepas" in Japanese on Google. All other mentions say that it is the Ceto of Greek myth, which is most often written as "Keitosu" in Japanese.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:26, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Brother Voodoo/Secret Invasion

Hi, Rtkat. I wanted to let you know the reason I've reverted this. WikiProject Comics editorial guidelines disallow what it calls "blow-by-blow" synopses — that is, overly detailed plot descriptions that include details of specific, ordinary actions, such as, "They ran and in and saw two bodies on the floor" ... an example that also serves to point out the overall Wikipedia policy about encyclopedic notability. If the story were to have shown Brother Voodoo killed ("on the courthouse steps, Brother Voodoo is shot by an unknown assailant and pronounced dead at the scene"), that that would be a significant character milestone. That's the key thing to ask: Is this a significant character milestone? In this case, it's not clear that this is even Brother Voodoo at all. --Tenebrae (talk) 19:56, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

I need to ask you again to please stop adding excessive minutiae to the entries on Marvel Comics character re: Secret Invasion. Large amounts of text detailing that someone was stopped with a dart, or jumped in through a window, etc., go against WikiProject Comics editorial guidelines.

Now, I've asked nicely, and I've indicated this in some edit summaries. We really need to speak, with other editors if you'd like, if you're going to keep doing this, since we all try to follow the guidelines derived over months and in some cases years of consensus. If you feel you cannot respect that, I'm afraid that's not the Wikipedia way. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to speak further.
