Notability[edit]

This article was tagged for a possible notability issue, however they have sources from mainstream newspapers/magazines such as; San Francisco Chronicle, The Austin Chronicle and Hyperallergenic (a large art magazine), as well as others. Mark Aguhar was one of the first artists to address the issue of the "glossy glorification of the gay white male body" and the issues around being transgender femme-identified while this may not seem notable to the mainstream art viewer, in the contemporary art world and in a transgender inclusive society it is notable and she is well respected by her peers. As can be seen from press coverage and academic citations, Aguhar had a pretty substantial impact on the art world, and thus she's definitely notable. 108.18.131.240 (talk) 17:22, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Quote[edit]

The Quote box was breaking the WP page (hiding headers and moving things on the page strangely), so it was replaced today with a quote template instead. Jooojay (talk) 04:42, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
