The result of the debate was
Delete. Probably copyvio indeed[1]. WilyD 14:58, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The uploader had a copyright issue with another upload. In that case, he claimed {{PD self}} when it was in fact a logo of Intelius. This image looks like it was taken by a professional, thus giving me reason to believe that the uploader is not the person who actually took this picture. Comment: At first I was going to speedy this image, but technically, no criteria apply. It has a improper license but not one of the 3 that I3 deals with. It had a public domain license (even if it was wrong) so I didn't use I5. And I1 didn't apply because Image:TheWitcherShadowStairs.png is a lower resolution image.--Rockfang (talk) 04:43, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes please delete this. I uploaded this under the wrong license, so I re uploaded with a new license. I'm kinda new to this, so if there was a way for me to delete it earlier without having to go through this, I didn't know.

As the original uploader, I have no objection; it's an orphaned fair use image, which is speedyable, I believe. *Dan T.* (talk) 14:08, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, see this MfD about the (only) user page that it is used on. Unencyclopedic, no forseeable use in articles and may have copyright issues due to using elements from Star Wars. RichardΩ612Ɣɸ 14:33, May 27, 2008 (UTC)

Image source (http://bentley.umich.edu/athdept/stadium/stadtext/ferry.htm) identifies image as a 1924 Wisconsin game. Image, therefore, was not published before 1.1.1923, as is incorrectly asserted by the PD-US license. Image is credited to "BHL, Ath. Dept.", which is expected to retain copyright. Orphan, actually found this one out to be in use on a YouTube channel so is being used offsite and violates WP:NOT for file storage. Questionable PD license also as the logos illustrated clearly belong to the BBC. treelotalk 19:49, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is almost certainly a free alternative image to illustrate the Chuck Norris Facts article, such as a cartoon released in PD. -- TIM KLOSKE|TALK 22:37, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
