Reason: I am nominating this picture for Featured Picture status because I believe that this is truly one of the best pictures on Wikipedia, it simply is the best picture of the U.S. Capitol that we currently have on Wiki Commons. It is used in over 50 different articles and if you were to compare it to all the other Images of the U.S. Capitol that we have on the Commons [1] it truly is the best full view image of the U.S. capitol that we have.
