Original – The queen consort of France, called Queen Marie of France with pet. Possibly a Spaniel or a Phalene. She was a daughter of King Stanisław I of Poland She married King Louis XV of France, known as Louis the Beloved. Misse and Lutine were Louis the Beloved's dogies.
Reason
Great painting, wonderful details, depicting Queen Marie of France; used to be in Versailles. It still is.
