Ahmed Usman Ododo (born 7 February 1982)[1] is a Nigerian accountant and politician who has served as the governor of Kogi State since 2024. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress.[2][3][4]

Before he was elected governor of Kogi state, he served as the auditor-general for local governments in Kogi State, overseeing the financial audit of local government councils in the state.[5]

Education and early career[edit]

Ododo studied Accounting at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and got his PhD from the University of Lagos. He was appointed Auditor general for local government by Governor Yahaya Bello.[6]
