Bengali in Sierra Leone[edit]

Hello, I am Meghmollar2017. I recently reverted your edit in Bengali language where you added Sierra Leone as one of the countries where Bengali is recognised. But, unfortunately, it is nothing but myth; Bengali is not the state language of Sierra Leone. Furthermore, no official documents were issued from Bangladeshi or Sierra Leonese authority in this regard. So, it is a request that you write anything in Wikipedia with proper authenticity. In 2002, after the contribution made by the Bangladesh UN Peacekeeping Force in the Sierra Leone Civil War under the United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone, the government of Ahmad Tejan Kabbah declared Bengali an honorary official language in December 2002.[1][2][3][4][5]

Then why even India and Pakistani MEDIA covered it as well? Md Minhaz Uddin Majumder (talk) 21:28, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
