I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article "Jill D. Davis", suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -FisherQueen (Talk) 12:42, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Creation of articles[edit]

Please be aware that Wikipedia is not very hospitable to "Under Construction" signs. It is expected that an editor will have gathered information, citations, references and so forth, and crafted the article in advance, either in the sandbox or offline, before creating an article page here in Wikipedia. "More stuff to follow" is likely to induce speedy deletion from some of our bolder editors. --Orange Mike 15:45, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Subsequent productions[edit]

Hello. In this encyclopedia, when listing subsequent productions of a musical, we normally list long-running productions in major houses. A musical like West Side Story receives numerous productions every year, including by major regional theatres and international productions. So a short-running production in Queens should not be listed in a musical theatre article in Wikipedia. If you disagree, you need to establish a WP:CONSENSUS on the Talk page.
